Ralph's Hardwood Floors
A Rich Tradition of Beautiful Results
Continuing the Rich Tradition of Hardwood Floors
Serving Northeast and Central Wisconsin since 1965
In 1965, Ralph Lorenz first opened the doors of Ralph's Hardwood Floors, offering professional sanding and finishing services; later, Ralph and his employees learned and became experts at installation. Twenty-seven years later, in 1992, Ralph passed the torch to his son, Rod, who bought the business with the goal of continuing and enhancing the tradition of exceptional quality and value-added customer service. Today, we're proud to be the largest residential wood floor contractor in northern Wisconsin.

Why Hardwood?
If you're looking for lasting beauty, character and durability, hardwood flooring is the ideal choice for you. The benefits of hardwood over carpet, tile, laminate or vinyl flooring make it a good investment for any home.
- Wear
- With today's tough finishes, hardwood floors stand up to the wear and tear of active households - even in the kitchen.
- Appearance
- Hardwoods have distinctive characteristics making each hardwood floor - and the home it's in - uniquely beautiful.
- Value
- Generally, the cost of hardwood flooring is comparable - and sometimes less - than other flooring types. When you consider its longevity, it's even a greater value.
- Versatility
- You have so many styles, colors and looks to choose from when you put hardwood in your home - it's almost beyond the imagination. You can also personalize your hardwood floor with inlays, borders, custom staining and more.
- Care
- Hardwood floors are easy to maintain and keep clean: simply wipe up any spills; sweep and vacuum as needed.
- Longevity
- There are few natural surfaces with the proven life of a hardwood floor. They last a lifetime - and often more! After decades of use, simple maintenance can bring new life to your hardwood if needed.
