Your floors are looking dull and there are some mild surface scratches visible, but sanding them down seems a bit extreme. Adding a coat or two of finish may be all that is needed to refresh them and give them new life. We refer to this process as recoating. Although this will not take care of deep scratches or gouges, it is excellent for a quick pick me up until your floors are ready for a thorough sanding.
