In the wood flooring industry, staining is color treating your floor.  We have developed techniques that allow us to get nearly any color on any wood! Some species are particularly difficult to stain and many companies simply refuse to even try. At one point even our suppliers told us  "you can't stain maple." Our wise and forward-thinking leader realized, that just because we don't know how to, doesn't mean we can't learn.  Alas, we developed an exclusive technique to stain and finish woods that are notoriously difficult to stain, such as maple, cherry, birch, hickory, and pine, with amazing success! 

Not a big fan of grain? With an artistic eye and scientific know how, we have learned how to minimize the effects of grain through a multi-stage staining process. As a result, we can take a very practical floor, and with the Ralph’s touch we can turn it into a Rembrandt.
