Maple
First Grade
From late 1800’s to the early 1900’s maple was plentiful and was used in many homes in Wisconsin. Today maple is again the most popular floor. First grade maple is hand selected to minimize the natural character variations of the species.
Second Grade
Second grade maple is selected to contain a beautiful blend of warm heartwood, creamy sapwood, and soft grain. Due to its versatility, maple is a stunning addition to any home.
Third Grade
Third grade maple is hand selected and presents as a bold blend of warm heartwood and creamy sapwood, and is a stunning addition to any home. A light stain may be applied to tame the color variation and add warmth to the overall appearance of this floor.
Peshtigo River Cherry
The name "Peshtigo River Cherry" suggests the floor is cherry, however, this flooring is hand picked from the center of the maple tree. If you are looking for a wood with the gentle grain of maple and a naturally warmer tone, Peshtigo River Cherry may be perfect for you. Elegant grain, warm color tones, hardness of maple, what's not to love?
